Hope.
It’s the lifeblood of human beings in many ways. We hope for happiness, for change, for acceptance, for healing, for forgiveness, for patience, for the future, and a million more desires and outcomes over the course of our lifetime.
But what happens when our hope begins to fade?
What do we do when life’s inevitable trials come along and suffering sets in?
Ben and Brian of 41 Messengers tackle these questions and others in our debut album, “A Message of Hope.”
For those who may not know, Ben has cancer. I use the word has because Ben was diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer that he will battle for the remainder of his life.
To add insult to cancerous injury, Ben’s cancer grew in his neck requiring multiple surgeries that eventually damaged his vocal cords and affected his ability to sing and his ability to speak for a period of time.
In “A Message of Hope,” Ben and I walk through his experience sharing stories, songs, and surprises along the way. It’s not all music and it’s not all serious either. There’s plenty of laughter and we believe you will find some joy that cannot be contained in this story.
We decided to share “A Message of Hope” with you completely free of charge. It’s more important to us that you hear this story and, when warranted, share this story of hope. You can download the songs directly from this page at no cost.
If you are so inclined, we did spend money on rehearsal time, on studio time, on travel, on mixing and mastering, and more so we have a donation option if you are willing to donate toward this project and/or a potential second album in the future.
We hope this album speaks to you and encourages you. And with that, here’s “A Message of Hope.”
